Griefity, a forward-thinking startup committed to leveraging technology in the realm of grief support, is thrilled to announce the launch of its much-anticipated “Grief Support Survey.” This innovative research initiative is poised to illuminate the grief support journey, with a core focus on understanding the support provided to individuals grappling with loss.
The Grief Support Survey: Spotlight on the Grief Support Journey
Grief is a profound and universal human experience, a path that many traverse but one that remains deeply personal to each individual.
The Grief Support Survey invites individuals who have experienced grief to share their stories, experiences, and insights. By doing so, participants will contribute to a comprehensive body of knowledge aimed at better understanding the grief journey and improving the support resources available.
Key Objectives of the Survey:
- Explore the diverse experiences encountered in grief support
- Identify the challenges and coping mechanisms individuals employ when grieving
- Inform the development of more targeted grief support resources
Approach and Methodology:
The survey is being facilitated by our founder and senior Experience Researcher, Corinne Davies. Responses are provided in survey format and can be given anonymously. There is also the option for participants to opt-in to a 45 minute interview to provide further context. We are offering a NZD$40 (USD$25) gift card as a thank you for those that participate in an interview.
Collaboration and Insights Sharing:
Griefity firmly believes in the power of collaboration and community. All personally identifiable information will be removed and summary findings made available to all participating individuals and organisations. This approach will enable organisations to refine their support services and resources, better addressing the needs of those they serve. Results of the survey are anticipated in early 2024.
